About Us
Timeless Craft
PAM YO! was born from a love of heritage, the kind you can touch, carry, and pass on.
We reimagine two traditional Kenyan baskets. The kiondo is typically made from sisal, and the Kikapu, a traditional basket made from palm leaves, is not a relic of the past, but a radiant symbol of future craft, slow, soulful, and grounded in intention.
Each piece tells a story of Kenyan artisans, primarily women who weave the rhythm of their villages into every strand, and of women everywhere who seek meaning beyond mass production.
Our craft is a conversation between earth and hand, between Africa and the world.
We use sisal, leather, recycled cloth, and plant dyes, sourced ethically and worked patiently, never rushed.
At PAM YO!, we believe luxury should whisper.
Not in gold or gloss, but in care, calm, and continuity. It is the quiet power of something made with respect for time, people, and place.
This is not fast fashion.
This is slow beauty for a busy world.
Welcome to PAM YO! — Timeless Craft for the Slow Luxury Era.
Meet the Founder
“I started PAM YO! to tell stories through things and the reimagination is in memory of our mothers' — through love and patience, texture, colour, and craft.
To remind us that design can be a bridge: between women and work, between Africa and its global children, between making and meaning.
These bags, these baskets, these quiet objects — they carry more than things. They carry stories, skills, and spirit.”
— Linda, Founder of PAM YO! Studio
Our Makers
Our artisans are based across Kenya — from Nairobi’s bustling markets to the tranquil basketry cooperatives of Kitui, Muranga, and Gem, which are not well-known places beyond Kenya. The women are the soul of PAM YO!, each one is trained in the art of weaving, dyeing, and leather craft.
We partner directly, ensuring fair pay, flexible schedules, and creative recognition.
Every PAM YO! piece comes with the signature of its maker — a quiet salute from one pair of hands to another.
