Women Who Weave

Women Who Weave

In the villages of Gem and the workshops of Nairobi, the hum of weaving frames the day. Women gather — laughing, sharing, creating. The work is rhythmic, meditative, and deeply communal.

Each artisan brings her own rhythm and story. Some learned the craft from mothers and grandmothers; others found it as a path toward independence. Together, they transform raw fiber into form, utility into beauty.

When you hold a PAM YO! bag, you hold her time — the hours she spent twisting, dyeing, weaving. You hold her signature — a silent mark of pride.

Our mission is not only to sell beautiful things, but to honor the hands that make them.
Every weave is an act of resilience, every bag a small revolution in women-led design.

This is what empowerment looks like — woven, not spoken.
