PAM YO! STUDIO
PAM YO! was born from a love of heritage, the kind you can touch, carry, and pass on.
We reimagine two traditional Kenyan baskets: the kiondo, woven from sisal, and the kikapu, traditionally made from palm leaves. These forms are not relics of the past, but living expressions of future craft: slow, soulful, and grounded in intention.
Each piece carries the story of Kenyan artisans, primarily women, who weave the rhythm of their villages into every strand. Their work reflects a wider truth: women everywhere sustaining culture, protecting livelihoods, and finding meaning through making.
Our craft is a conversation between earth and hand, between Africa and the world.
We work with natural fibres, including sisal, palm leaves, baobab, and banana. We use locally sourced leather, recycled cloth, and plant dyes. Every product is ethically produced, patiently made, never rushed.
At PAM YO! luxury whispers. It is not dressed in gold or gloss, but in craft, care, calm, and continuity, the quiet power of something made with respect for time, people, and place.
We create slow beauty for a busy world.
